Levi Wooden
ISA Board-Certified Master Arborist #KY-9853B
Master of Science in Forest Resources & Conservation, University of Florida
I bring a diverse background of experience in tree healthcare, climbing techniques, pruning and removal strategies, heritage tree preservation, soil science, and forest ecology. My undergraduate degree is in literature from Anderson University, and I obtained my master’s degree in Forest Resources & Conservation with a graduate certificate in natural Resource Policy & Administration from the University of Florida. I maintain certifications as a MN Tree Inspector, MN Master Naturalist, NWCG Wildland Firefighter, and for the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ). In addition to my 10+ years as an arborist, my professional experiences in ecological restoration and sustainable agriculture have helped me develop a unique and holistic approach to urban tree management.
When I’m not at work, you can find me spending time with my wife, our two daughters, a sleepy dog, a lazy cat, and two floppy eared rabbits. On any weekend, you might find me playing in Minnehaha Creek with our kids, tending our community garden plot, or checking out more books than I could possibly read from the library. Otherwise, I’ll be at home fixing up our camper, baking cookies, or noodling around on a guitar. I love building relationships with people and helping them steward the landscapes they find themselves in, and I am excited to bring that passion to you.
